Motorola has unveiled the 2025 iterations of its widely popular mid-range smartphones in North America: the Moto G 2025 and Moto G Power 2025. Both models pack compelling features while maintaining affordability, catering to a broad range of users.

The device features a 6.7-inch display with a 120 Hz refresh rate and 1,000-nit peak brightness, protected by Gorilla Glass 3. It is powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 6300 SoC and comes equipped with a 50 MP main camera, a 2 MP macro camera, and a 16 MP front-facing camera. Its 5,000 mAh battery supports 30W wired charging. The Moto G 2025 has a water-repellent design and a vegan leather finish, running on Android 15. The device also supports 5G.
The Moto G 2025 will be available in the U.S. starting January 30, 2025, for a recommended price of $199.99. It will be sold unlocked and available through retailers such as Motorola, Amazon, and Best Buy, with availability extending to most major carriers.

The device is equipped with a 50 MP main camera with OIS, an 8 MP ultrawide camera, and a macro camera, as well as a 16 MP selfie camera. Its 5,000 mAh battery supports 30W wired charging and 15W wireless charging. The Moto G Power 2025 is IP68 and IP69 certified for dust and water resistance and MIL-STD-810H certified for durability, withstanding falls from nearly four feet, extreme temperatures (-4°F to 140°F), and high humidity levels up to 95%. It runs on Android 15.
The Moto G Power 2025 will become available in the U.S. on February 6, 2025, for a recommended price of $299.99. It will be sold unlocked through retailers such as Motorola, Amazon, and Best Buy, with availability at most major carriers in the coming months.
In Canada, both devices will be available at select carriers and national retailers starting May 2, 2025, with pricing to be announced.
