Xiaomi has officially launched the Redmi Note 14 globally, one month after its debut in India. While the 5G variant remains largely similar to its Indian and Chinese counterparts, it introduces notable improvements in the camera department. Accompanying the launch is an LTE-only variant, featuring a different chipset and camera configuration, aimed at providing more options for budget-conscious buyers.
Redmi Note 14 5G: High-End Features in a Sleek Package
The Redmi Note 14 5G is powered by the Dimensity 7025 Ultra chipset, though details on its improvements over the standard 7025 remain unclear. It features a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and 2,100 nits peak brightness. The screen is protected by Gorilla Glass 5 and houses a 20MP selfie camera within a punch-hole design.

On the rear, the 5G variant boasts a 108MP primary camera with OIS, utilizing a 1/1.67” sensor and 0.64μm pixels for improved clarity and stability. Supporting this are an 8MP ultrawide camera and a 2MP macro shooter. The device also offers IP64 dust and water resistance, a 3.5mm audio jack, and an under-display fingerprint scanner.
It comes with a 5,110mAh battery supporting 45W fast charging, with a charger included in the box except in EU regions due to regulatory restrictions. Running on HyperOS atop Android 14, the phone integrates AI features such as AI Erase and AI Beautify. It also includes the Gemini app for generative AI tools.

Available in Black, Purple, and Coral Green, the Redmi Note 14 5G offers configurations of 6/128GB, 8/256GB, and 12/512GB. Pricing and regional availability will be announced soon.
Redmi Note 14 LTE: A More Affordable Alternative
The LTE variant, powered by the older Helio G99 chipset, offers a budget-friendly option but compromises on performance. It retains the 108MP primary camera but lacks OIS and omits the ultrawide sensor, replacing it with a 2MP depth camera alongside a 2MP macro shooter. The 20MP front-facing camera remains unchanged.
Its 6.67-inch AMOLED display offers Full HD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and 1,800 nits peak brightness. However, it uses an older version of Gorilla Glass for protection and offers IP54 dust and splash resistance.

The LTE model features a larger 5,500mAh battery, supporting 33W charging, with an adapter included outside the EU. It also runs HyperOS with Android 14, incorporating basic AI features.
Available in Black, Purple, Blue, and Lime Green, it offers memory options of 6/128GB, 8/128GB, and 8/256GB. Pricing starts at €200/£180 for the base model and €230/£230 for the mid-tier variant.
Overall thought
With the Redmi Note 14 series, Xiaomi aims to balance performance and affordability. The 5G model targets users seeking high-end features, while the LTE-only variant provides an economical alternative without sacrificing key functionalities like the 108MP camera and AMOLED display. Availability and pricing details are expected to vary by region, making these devices appealing options across global markets.
